Tideway announces new board member
Mike Putnam has been announced as a new non-executive director on the Tideway board.
A Chartered Civil Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Mike is also a non-executive director of Southern Water Services; Network Rail & ARCADIS, the global design and cost consultancy business.
He was President and CEO of Skanska UK plc from October 2009 until May 2017. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President and a main Board Director for Skanska UK plc from June 2001 to September 2009.
Commenting on the appointment, Tideway’s Chairman Sir Neville Simms said: “Mike is a highly experienced leader with a broad-base of knowledge from the construction, engineering and utility sectors. Mike’s involvement with some of the most significant infrastructure projects ever delivered in the UK will be invaluable as we deliver the next critical phase of the Tideway project. I am delighted to be welcoming him to the board.”
