Residents who live near Tideway's Cremorne Wharf Depot site on Lots Road were given the chance to venture beyond the teal hoarding to see the works first-hand. 

Around 10 residents joined the site team for a walk around one evening once the works had concluded for the day. The team explained the purpose of the ongoing piling work and the function of the site once complete.

At Cremorne, the team is constructing a shaft and interception chamber to intercept 94 per cent of the sewage that currently overflows into the Thames from Lots Road Pumping Station.
