Deptford Church Street

May 2020

Following a pause to our works as part of our response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have resumed some construction work at our Deptford Church Street site. We have introduced several additional precautions so that our team can do this work safely.

Over the past few months we completed the construction of the tunnel portals within our 50m shaft, which our Tunnel Boring Machine (Annie) will be passing through. We are currently making preparations to start the shaft secondary lining works later this year.

Works within the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) have seen much progress on the construction of the internal walls, which will continue throughout the summer.

All non-essential staff who can work from home are doing so.

If you have any questions about this or our site at Deptford Church Street please get in touch with our helpdesk on 08000 30 80 80 or [email protected]
