Charlotte, our Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), began her journey towards King George's Park in March 2019. She arrive to site in late October.

Charlotte has been driven back over to Dormay Street where she will complete the rest of the Frogmore Connection Tunnel towards Carnwath Road.

Our standard working hours are (with a 1-hour mobilisation period before and after these times):
Monday – Friday: 8am – 6pm
Saturday: 8am – 12 midday
Additionally, we have maintenance periods on the weekend:
Saturday: 1 – 5pm
Sunday: 10am – 4pm
There will be a period of 24-hour working. However, activities will be predominantly below ground.

Our Dormay Street team are committed to managing our works and mitigating any impacts. Examples of measures we currently have in place include:
Hoarding has been erected along the site boundary
Vehicle movements outside of standard hours will be restricted
Use of low level directional lighting
Set limits to control activities, such as noise (Section 61 approval) from LB Wandsworth
