Abbey Mills Pumping Station is an existing Thames Water pumping station site.

The site will be used to receive the tunnel from Chambers Wharf and connect to the Lee Tunnel, which will transfer sewage flows to Beckton Sewage Treatment Works.

A shaft approximately 66 metres deep with an internal diameter of approximately 20 metres will be constructed between the Prescott Channel and the Lee Tunnel shaft.

Acton Storm Tanks is an existing Thames Water pumping station and storm water tanks site. The surrounding area is predominantly residential, industrial and mixed-use.

The Albert Embankment Foreshore site is on the southern bank of the River Thames. It comprises the foreshore under and to the east and west of Vauxhall Bridge, and extends approximately 250 metres north.

The site connects the existing local combined sewer overflows underneath Vauxhall Bridge, known as the Clapham Storm Relief and Brixton Storm Relief sewers, to the main tunnel.

The Barn Elms main work site is in the south eastern corner of the Barn Elms Schools Sports Centre site. The surrounding area is a combination of mainly playing fields, but also residential and community facilities.

Beckton Sewage Treatment Works is an operational Thames Water sewage treatment works site and is the largest sewage treatment works in Europe.

Work began under the DLR archways on Ratcliffe Lane and within St Katharine's precinct in January 2018. Main works on Bekesbourne Street began in January 2018 and are expected to be complete by early 2019.

The Blackfriars Bridge Foreshore site is located on the north bank of the river Thames to the west of the Blackfriars Road Bridge. Blackfriars is one of Tideway’s largest sites, and one of a small number located in the heart of central London.

This site is made up of two parts; a main site (which includes Whiffin Wharf, Hurlingham Wharf, Carnwath Road Industrial Estate and an area of the River Thames foreshore) and a small highways work site.

While there is no combined sewer overflow being intercepted at this site, it will be used to drive the main tunnel to Acton Storm Tanks and receive the main tunnel from Kirtling Street. It would also receive the Frogmore connection tunnel driven from Dormay Street.

The King George’s Park site encompasses a small part of the northern end of King George’s Park adjacent to the entrance from Buckhold Road and the junction of Buckhold Road and Neville Gill Close.

The Kirtling Street site is on the southern bank of the River Thames and comprises four areas of land as well as an area extending into the Thames.
