These sewers overflow into the River Thames when it rains.
Sewage is the last significant source of pollution in the river.
The super sewer is the solution
to tackle these problems
25km long and 7.2 metres in diameter, it will be completed in 2025.
The Thames Tideway Tunnel will protect the river for at least the next 100 years.
