The team are continuing to make good progress at our Carnwath Road Riverside site and have recently placed the cover slab onto the shaft.

In Spring 2024 the team will be working on the architectural and landscape elements, including constructing the ventilation column and mechanical & electrical kiosk and creating the new area of public realm.

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
• Monday to Friday: extended hours until 10pm (no noisy working)
• Saturday: 8am to 6pm (no concrete breaking before 9am)

There is a 1-hour mobilisation period before and after these times.

Additionally, we have maintenance periods on the weekend:

• Saturday: 1pm to 5pm
• Sunday: 10am to 4pm

We will limit the timings of concrete breaking to:

• Monday to Friday: 9am to 11am, 12pm to 2pm, 3pm to 5pm
• Saturday: 9am to 11am

Our Carnwath Road team are committed to managing our works and mitigating any impacts. Example of measures we currently have in place include:

• All static machinery and plant are being screened/enclosed
• Hoarding has been erected on the site boundaries
• Vehicle movements outside of standard hours are restricted
• Use of low level directional lighting
• Set limits to control activities, such as noise (Section 61 approval) from London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
• We erected a noise enclosure over the tunnel drive shaft (now removed)

There will be a small area of new public realm left once we have finished constructing the super sewer.
