Our company and our people

Working for Tideway means much more than simply cleaning up the River Thames. Our teams are part of the legacy we will leave London that will far outlive the project.

At Tideway, we believe a high-performing, motivated and engaged workforce will deliver better value and help us recruit and retain people. Our teams are encouraged to volunteer toward important causes, including working at schools where we aim to encourage more children to think about working in engineering.

Our aim is to change the face of the construction industry by building a truly inclusive and diverse workplace, which started with our ambition to achieve gender parity on the project and more recently has focused on evolving our flexible working policies.

Tideway has successfully delivered on its target to provide 4,000 sustainable jobs with our approach recognised externally, having been named Responsible Business Champion for Outstanding Employment at the Business in the Community Responsible Business Awards 2021.
