Our main construction work is substantially complete and our activities are now focussed within the Thames Water Pumping Station area where we are installing and testing the electrical and mechanical equipment required for the sewer system to operate. We have handed over a large part of the site to the developer St George. Thames Water continue to own and operate the Pumping Station. See our information sheet here - December 2023. 

Our standard working hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm and Saturday: 8am to 1pm

There is a 1-hour mobilisation period before and after these times.

Additionally, we have maintenance periods on the weekend:

• Saturday: 1pm to 5pm
• Sunday: 10am to 4pm

During construction our Hammersmith site team committed to managing the works and mitigating any impacts. Examples of the measures we had in place included:

• The contractor liaising and coordinating with the Fulham Reach developer regarding community liaison and communications with local residents and stakeholders
• Hoarding erected along the site boundary
• Site offices positioned along the northern boundary of the site to screen Chancellor’s Road from construction activities
• The use of surface cranes minimised outside of standard working hours
• Limits set to control activities, such as noise (Section 61 approval) from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
